Santa Barbara Amateur Radio Club General Information
Mission Statement
SBARC is a non-profit public benefit corporation organized to promote education for persons interested in telecommunications, to disseminate information about scientific discoveries and progress in the field, and to train communicators for public service and emergency communications. SBARC also encourages and sponsors experiments in electronics and promotes the highest standards of practice and ethics in the conduct of communications.
Our success is shown by a progressive increase in involved membership, by public recognition and support, by members' advancement in the technology, and by acquisition and utilization of assets.
SBARC assures success by having an organization with a focus on its goals, a system of leadership development, prudent financial management, and a vision toward and dedication to public service. It supports an organized and comprehensive educational program and publicizes its activities and services to the community.

Internet Information
SBARC Email - SBARC members can have a mycallsign@sbarc.org email address which forwards email to the member's regular email. This service is included with your SBARC membership. To setup or update your email address, please contact the Membership Database person. Be advised that changes and updates are not automatic, so please allow a week before making additional requests.
SBARC List-Serv - SBARC has a email mailing list. If you wish to subscribe,
go to the SBARC
List Page and follow the instructions. If you ever need to get in
contact with the owner of the list, e.g. if you have trouble unsubscribing

SBARC Yahoo! Group - There is a Yahoo!
group for SBARC members. The advantage of this group over the List-Serv
is that all posted messages are saved in an archive for later viewing.
In addition, various files and photos can be uploaded to share with other
members. It is necessary to have a Yahoo! account (which are free) to
join this group.
